Ski Slopes . . .
Expert and novice skiers and snowboarders enjoy
60 slopes and trails which are served by 12 chair lifts, including 3 high-speed detachable quad lifts and 2 fixed quad lifts. Whether you are a first time skier needing extra assistance or a "hot
dogger," you will find variety and challenge in Snowshoe's slopes. The famous Cupp Run and
Shay's Revenge (55% slope) drop 1,500 feet and run more than 1.5 miles. All slopes have 100 percent snowmaking.
Snowshoe Mountain Trails
Snowshoe Mountain's primary slope system offers 37 slopes served by 6 lifts, Skidder, Widowmaker, Grab Hammer, Powder Monkey, and Powder Ridge plus its high-speed detachable quad Ball Hooter chairlift. Its Skidder Lift is a slow speed lift with friendly assistants to help load and unload beginner skiers who are new to lift rides.
Western Territory Slopes
Snowshoe Mountain's Western Territory offers expert skiers the famous Cupp Run and the new Shay's Revenge. Both drop 1,500 feet and run over 1 1/2 miles. A new high-speed detachable quad chairlift keeps skiers skiing. Silver Creek Slopes
Silver Creek is part of
Snowshoe Mountain Resort and served by Snowshoe's free shuttle bus system. Lift tickets are valid at both locations. Silver Creek offers night skiing and has five lifts, Tubing Hill, Cubb Run, Mountaineer, Cascade, and Flying Eagle serving its 17 slopes. |
